Mirelle Belloni
Lecturer IV RC Department: French Phone: (734) 647-4374 mbelloni@umich.edu
Office: On leave
Mireille has taught for 10 years at the Residential College, as the Director of the French Program and as a lecturer and has directed a number of programs abroad. This year, she took a leave of absence and lives in the Bay Area. She gives private lessons to teenagers and has started teaching French a couple of hours a week to kids (1st-3rd graders and 4th-5th graders) in a magnet school and finds it challenging, energizing and rewarding.
In another life, she will be an architect or a musician. She enjoys music, a human endeavor which makes sense to her, maybe the only one. She practices the piano (classical) regularly. She would love to be able to play easy jazz and improvise, but has obviously a very long way to go. Just ask her friends!
